ABOUT US







The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) is an independent, non-profit organization that brings together business actors in Indonesia—from large enterprises to SMEs—across state-owned, cooperative, and private sectors. As the representative voice of the Indonesian business community, KADIN bridges the interests of entrepreneurs with the government and other stakeholders, supports a healthy and competitive business climate, and connects a nationwide and global network of companies and business associations to advance business activities, trade, and investment.
Established under Law Number 1 of 1987 on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the organization's primary mandate is to consolidate, develop, represent, and advocate for the interests of the business community.
KADIN is a strategic partner of the government in fostering a healthy, competitive, and equitable business climate throughout Indonesia.

PRIMARY ROLES & FUNCTIONS
As a platform for communication, information-sharing, representation, consultation, facilitation, and advocacy among entrepreneurs, and between entrepreneurs, the government, and the international business community.
As a strategic partner of the government in economic affairs, providing policy input, fostering a healthy business climate, and promoting more equitable access to business opportunities.
